The TQ10k is Back for 2020

The annual TQ10k will return for 2020 to the stunning Titanic Quarter on Sunday 29th March 2020. The event has proved to be hugely popular over the years, with the flat course providing runners with some fast times.

The winners of last year’s 1k Family Race, Aoife Dunlop and Conor Doran helped launch the event along with Conor’s younger brothers, at the iconic Titanic Belfast. The event will once again have a 10k and a 1k Family Race, providing a perfect opportunity for the whole family to get involved.

As the official warm-up race for the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon, the event, which is now in its 14th year, is expected to attract high numbers, with last year’s event hitting over 1,400 runners.

2020-tq10klaunch-group.jpgThe event will once again be part of the Inter-Area Road Race Series, which involves teams from the North of England, South of England, Midlands, UK Armed Forces, Scotland and Wales to compete against the NI & Ulster teams across a series of Road Races within the UK. This adds an elite element to the TQ10k, with Danielle Hodkingson (North of England team) setting a new Female course record of 33.42secs at last year’s event.

Each competitor in the 10k and the 1k Family Race will receive a bespoke Titanic medal, along with a TQ10k t-shirt and goodie bag. The 10k course takes in local views of the Harland & Wolff Cranes, HMS Caroline, and the world’s largest Titanic visitor experience, Titanic Belfast.

There is an Early Bird discount rate of £12.00 available until the 31st January 2020, so don’t miss your chance to enter now!
