Last Chance to Personalise Your Race Number for the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Half Marathon

Rebecca Murray (1st time Half Marathon runner) is encouraging you to enter the 5th Deep RiverRock Belfast City Half Marathon before 25th August to ensure you receive a personalised race number.

On Sunday 17th September close to 3,500 participants will set off on their 13.1 mile journey from Ormeau Park, in a bid to complete the 5th Deep RiverRock Belfast City Half Marathon.

Due to its success at the Full Marathon event in May, Deep RiverRock Belfast City Half Marathon entrants have the opportunity to personalise their race bib for the first time.

Belfast is well known for its friendliness and support on race day, the feedback we received from the May event runners was so positive we decided to include this for the Half Marathon. What better way to feel motivated on race day than to hear your name being shouted out by our welcoming Belfast crowds!

Rebecca Murray will take on the Half Marathon challenge for the first time on Sunday 17th September.  She chose Belfast to run her first 13.1 miles having experienced the atmosphere and friendliness during the 2017 Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon relay.  Talking about her team, Rebecca says, “Some of us caught the running bug.  We found the Belfast events really help spur you on!”

There’s still time to enter and receive a personalised race number, however the deadline for this is midnight on Friday 25th August.

You can of course still enter the race until 8th September.
