Ben Reynolds 2014 Commonwealth Games

Northern Ireland record holder Ben Reynolds (PB 13.48) will run his first 110m Hurdles since the Beijing World Championships last August when he lines up at the NI & Ulster Senior Championships on June 19th. Reynolds, who is looking for his fourth consecutive hurdles title, won’t have it all his own way as he will be facing stiff competition from Irish European Indoor international Gerard O’Donnell (PB 13.87) and 2015 British Championship bronze medallist Jake Porter (PB 13.91).

Both Reynolds and O’Donnell require one more B standard of 13.90 to qualify for the European Championships in Amsterdam while Porter is chasing his first sub 14 second clocking of the year so a fast competitive race is expected.

European Junior 2015 competitor Garbhan McKenna (PB 14.82) has adapted well to his first year over the senior heights and will be ready to snatch a place on the podium should any of the top three falter.
