Athletics NI Say Farewell to Running Participation Officer Paula Wallace

Paula has had a positive impact on the athletics community, through her involvement in junior athletics programmes, MPT Panthers, StarTrack and Rising Stars, through to Buggy Club and the Flahavan’s Primary Schools Cross Country League. Paula was also instrumental in the creation of Run NI in 2020, reaching out to running groups across Northern Ireland and was a huge driving force behind the activities particularly throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

While Paula will be moving on, she will not be far away, as she intends to continue coaching in a casual capacity.

Athletics NI and the athletics community within Northern Ireland wish Paula the best of luck in the future, whether that’s in coaching, cycling or candle making!
