Athletics NI saddened at passing of Joe Sheridan

It is with great sadness that we have learnt that Joe Sheridan, a life member and former Chairman of Athletics Northern Ireland, has passed away in hospital this morning (Thursday 14th December). Joe had been ill for some time.
Up until quite recently Joe continued to play an active part in our activities, and was one of our longest serving volunteer technical officials.
Joe's funeral will be held at 10:00 on Monday 18th December in St Bernards Church, Antrim Road, Belfast.
Joe will be greatly missed and we would like to extend our sympathies to his family.
