Ciara Mageean competes at Star-Studded Long Island Mile

Northern Ireland’s Ciara Mageean (UCD AC / Jerry Kiernan) claimed 10th place at the star studded Long Island Mile in America last night (Wednesday 6thSeptember 2017). The multiple NI record holder clocked 4:35.61 for the classic distance. The race was won by Emily Lipari in 4:28.84.

Ciara’s personal best for the distance is 4:22.40, which she recorded at the London Anniversary Games earlier this summer (July 2017).
