Jack Agnew Claims Second Medal at World Para Athletics Junior Championships

Northern Ireland’s Jack Agnew (Torque Racing / Heather Ardis) has continued his outstanding season with a second medal at the ongoing World Para Athletics Junior Championships in Switzerland (Friday 4th August 2017). Following on from his outstanding performance and silver medal in yesterday’s Under 20 T51-T54 400m, Jack (T54) secured 3rd place and the associated bronze medal in the T52-T54 200m, finishing in 27.53. Jack led the field home in both of his races – final placings were decided based on the raze points system. The points system is explained HERE

Fellow NI athlete Eve Dann (North Down AC / Roger Sexton), who claimed a magnificent gold in the Under 18 T35-T38 200m yesterday, will line up in the 100m tomorrow (Saturday 5th August 2017).
