For children under 12 years of age there are numerous Grass Roots programmes available to get them started in Athletics. Then from 12-14 years old why not try out a Rising Stars squad to learn the fundamentals of Athletics. Then from 15 years up for those who want to take their Athletics a little more seriously there are various options available through the High Performance Athlete Support Pathway. And of course this all complements the existing Club Athletics programme delivered by your local Athletics Club.

Specifically designed for children aged 12-14, Rising Stars is a structured curriculum to introduce he fundamentals of running, jumping and throwing.
