Sport NI in conjunction with Athletics NI are running a Clubmark information session for any Athletics NI member club interested in becoming accredited. The Clubmark programme aims to identify, develop, accredit and recognise high quality sports clubs and the contribution that they make to the development of sport in Northern Ireland.  To gain Clubmark NI accreditation, clubs are required to evidence compliance with the core Clubmark NI criteria and sport specific criteria.

The purpose of the information session will be to inform clubs about the benefits of becoming an accredited club along with the advantages of using Sport NI’s new online system.

Sport NI’s Club Development Consultant Declan Steele will take clubs through the new system explaining how to register and upload information required for assessment and final accreditation.   Athletics NI staff will explain athletics specific criteria, support available to clubs and incentives for those clubs achieving accreditation in 2018.

The information session will take place in the Les Jones Room at the Mary Peters Track on Wednesday 21st February 2018 at 7:00pm. Interested clubs can confirm attendance by emailing info@athleticsni.org

The session will last approximately 90 minutes.
