Athletics Northern Ireland have been made aware of a number of posts circulating on social media.  Athletics Northern Ireland is committed to upholding the principles of integrity, respect, and sportsmanship in all aspects of our work, including communication on digital platforms. 

Social media serves as a valuable tool for fostering community, celebrating accomplishments, and promoting athletics. However, the improper use of these platforms can detract from the positive environment we strive to foster.

We strongly advocate for the responsible and constructive use of social media, ensuring that interactions remain respectful and inclusive. Any behavior online that could be considered disrespectful, discriminatory, or detrimental to the reputation of individuals or the sport will not be tolerated. Such actions undermine the ethos of Athletics Northern Ireland and the broader athletics community.

We are dealing with the reports received and liaising with the appropriate bodies.
