Solid line up for the Belfast International 1500m

In the Men’s 1500m, we have Irish International Rory Chesser and Northern Ireland’s James O’Hare leading the home challenge.  They will face a host of overseas athletes who feature regularly in the British Milers Club Meets amongst them Jack Hallas, Richard Weir, Dan Studley, Mattie Shirling, Josh Norman and Kevin Bell. Many of these athletes competed at the very successful IMC v BMC mile at the Morton Games last year (pictured)

Over in the women’s 1500m Emma Mitchell will lead the home challenge and will face Poland’s Urszula Necka along with England’s Gemma Kershey, Rowena Cole and Natalie Weir. Completing the Irish Challenge will be Nadia Power and Ellie Hartnet with Nadia seeking to run a World Junior qualifying standard.
