Club Leaders

Club Leaders NI provides free support to those involved in running clubs on the key business aspects of club management. It aims to create a robust, economically sustainable and enterprising sports club network across Northern Ireland. This support includes business and financial planning, marketing, governance and facilities management.

Sport NI recognises that the people behind the scenes are the backbone of sports clubs and this programme is here to support them, saving time and providing tips to save money.

The programme is funded by Sport Northern Ireland and delivered by PricewaterhouseCooper (PwC).

The Club Leaders team are pleased to announce a host of new seminar dates across Northern Ireland! Working in association with the North West Coaching Network and Belfast City Council, a whole range of Club Leaders seminars, on everything from getting to grips with PAYE and legal structures to developing a marketing strategy, are freely on offer to those involved in the running of local clubs.

All seminars are completely free to attend and will bring together clubs of all sizes and from lots of different sports. Lasting approximately 2 hours, Club Leaders seminars are packed with case studies, topical issues, worked examples and plenty of opportunity for discussion – allowing clubs to raise the questions that are most important to them and share experiences with others.

Clubs can book online with or email the team at Please find attached some flyers which detail the dates.

Club Leaders also provides lots of free, online resources at, as well as opportunities for clubs to receive one to one mentoring from a business professional.
