• Athletics Northern Ireland is the governing body for the sport of athletics within Northern Ireland.
• Athletics Northern Ireland is a recognised National Governing Body (NGB) for sport with Sport Northern Ireland.
• Athletics NI is one of four Home Country Governing Bodies which is governed by UK Athletics, along with England Athletics, Scottish Athletics and Welsh Athletics.
