Continuous Professional Development

On March 23rd, 2018 Athletics NI will deliver a Secondary Teachers Continuous Professional Development Day at Mary Peters Track, Belfast, BT95PR, between 10:00 and 3:00pm.

PE teachers and school athletics coaches are invited to attend free of charge and certificates of attendance will be provided. This is a practical workshop looking at what to coach with 12-18 year olds in school settings.

The workshop has capacity for 40 participants and last year we were significantly over subscribed so please register early.

Teachers often provide young people with their first experience of Athletics. Athletics NI’s Teacher Development programme aims to help teachers introduce pupils to the fundamentals of Athletics.

These can be purchased through the Youth Sport Trust from the official Elevating Athletics website.
