Belfast 5k to 10k Progression Initiative funded by Sport NI’s Every Body Active 2020 is a programme designed for non-club runners aged 16 and above who have recently completed a Couch to 5k programme or who are regularly running 5k and would like to progress to 10k.
The initiative will take place on a Monday evenings at the Mary Peters Track at 7pm, returning at approximately 8pm. Runners will meet at the side of the stand, nearest the carpark.
The session will include a warm up run, running drills, main session and then a cool down with stretches. The programme will be exclusive to those who have registered online. The programme will conclude with participants taking part in the Les Jones Memorial 10k on 17th May 2019. Details of this will be confirmed closer to the time.
