Every Body Active Belfast Junior Endurance Squad is designed for young people aged between 11-15 and who have a keen interest in endurance/ cross country running or have taken part in Park Run and are non-club members.
This programme will run for 8 weeks (25th February 2019 - 15th April 2019) on Monday evenings from 6.00-7.00pm at Mary Peters Track Belfast.
The sessions aim to encourage continued participation and to prepare athletes to move into a club setting, by promoting physical activity and improving fitness skills. Sessions will include phyiscal preparation work (core workouts) as well as endurance training.
These sessions will be led by Aaron McKendry and Paula Wallace. Please make sure to bring a drink of water and warm clothes.
