The Athletics NI Combined Events Championships will take place on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th August 2026.

The competition is open to U13, U15, U17, U20, Senior and Masters athletes, with full Masters categories available this year.

Start Time & Registration

Events will begin at 10:00am on both Saturday and Sunday, with registration open from 9:00am each day.

Athletes are advised to arrive in sufficient time to complete registration, collect their bib number and prepare for their first event.

All U15 & Master's Men 35+ events will take place on Saturday 29th August. 

All U13 & Masters Women 35+ events will take place on Sunday 30th August

Entries

Entries open at 9:00am on Tuesday 11th August 2026.

Entries close at midnight, Friday 21st August 2026.

Competition Information

  • The competition is open to U13, U15, U17, U20, Senior and Masters athletes.
  • Athletes must not wear headphones while inside the track fence, including in the warm-up area.
  • Coaches and parents are not permitted inside the track fence or competition area at any time. Unauthorised access may result in the athlete being disqualified.
  • Athletes competing across both days will use the same bib number on Day 1 and Day 2.
  • Athletes may bring up to two personal implements for use during the competition. Personal implements must be submitted at registration for weighing and approval before they can be used.
  • The minimum age for competition is 12 years old before 31 August 2026, subject to confirmation and the applicable UKA Age Group Rules.
  • All athletes, coaches and officials must comply with the applicable UKA Competition Rules and Athletics NI regulations.

Masters Competition

Athletics NI is pleased to offer full Masters categories as part of the 2026 Combined Events Championships.

Masters athletes will compete in the relevant age categories, with age-appropriate implements used where applicable. Masters athletes aged 35–59 will be integrated into the main competition programme where practical, while the 60+ Masters categories will compete in the designated Masters events.

 Minor amendments may be made to the timetable depending on final entry numbers and operational requirements.
