Athletics Northern Ireland sessions for Adult Endurance Runners are scheduled to take place every Monday evening beginning on 7th October and concluding on Monday 9th December at Mary Peters Track from 7.45pm-8.30pm.
The sessions are suitable for any adults endurance runners. These sessions aim to develop skill and physical preparedness specific to improving adult runners in endurance events. The sessions to be led by Aaron McKendry will begin at 7.45pm.
The sessions will include a range of different components to help condition endurance runners such as:
Foundational strength exercises
Core Stability
Glute, Hamstring & Calf Conditioning
Running Drills
The content delivered will closely mirror activities of the physical preparations sessions for endurance athletes squad.
Capacity is limited to 16 runners (aged 18+) with a cost of £30.
