6 NI & Ulster athletes have been selected to represent Ireland at the 2023 European U20 Championships in Jerusalem, Israel, from the 7th to 10th August 2023.
Nick Griggs (CNDR Track Club) has had an incredible season so far; breaking multiple Irish U20 records in the 1500m, mile, 3000m and 5000m. The current European U20 3000m Champion is in for both the 1500m and 3000m.

Joining them on the plane to Jerusalem is Fintan Dewhirst (Tir Chonaill AC) who is the U18 European 400m Hurdles Silver Medallist and Irish U20 400m Hurdles Champion.
Renee Crotty (Annalee AC) will be in the 4x400m relay after getting PB’s in the 400m and 800m over the past few weeks.
Hannah Murray (Finn Valley) will also be in the 4x400m team, after her win in the U19G 400m and Silver in the U19G 200m at last weekend’s National Juvenile Championships.
