Hanna at the Trofeo Vanoni Ends the Mountain Racing Season on a High

Trofeo Vanoni is a traditional late Autumn ‘end of season’ mountain relay race where each leg starts and finishes in Morbegno, Sondrio in the Lombardy Region of northern Italy. Over the years it has maintained a strong link with the Snowdon Race, welcoming a team selected from the front end of that race which typically takes place back in July.

Strive Racing Club’s Tommy Hughes set a new record once again at yesterday’s Lisburn Festival of Running Marathon with a time of 2:30:02, making a new Over 60 World Marathon record.

Request for Proposals for Medical Provider for Athletics Northern Ireland Events

Athletics Northern Ireland are seeking the services of an experienced medical provider to lead, manage and implement the medical programme for all Athletics NI events for a three-year contract. We want to make sure the appropriate medical cover for all our events is in place in order to keep all of our athletes, staff and officials and marshals as safe as possible.

Hanna Sparkles again in the Italian Alps

After a successful racing weekend in Casto, northwest of Brescia, Zak Hanna, the Newcastle & District & Salomon athlete from Dromara, decamped Monday to Chiavenna in the Val Bregaglia, in the Italian Alps only 14km shy of the Swiss border.

Scullion Breaks NI Marathon Record in London

Northern Ireland’s Stephen Scullion set a new NI Marathon Record of 2 Hours 9 minutes and 49 seconds taking 19 seconds off Kevin Seaward’s record set in Seville in February.
