NI & Irish Record Set at Brussels Diamond League Meet

Ciara Mageean (City of Lisburn AC) breaks her own NI & Irish record in the 1500m and finishes 2^nd at the Diamond League Meet in Brussels (Friday 8^th September).

Another spectacular 1500m performance added to Ciara’s unbelievable 2023 track season. Finishing just behind Laura Muir of Scotland for 2^nd place in a time of 3:55.87.

Diamond League Final

Ciara was competing in a very competitive 1500m Diamond League Final in Oregon last weekend (Saturday 16^th September) with the 2022 winner Faith Kipyegon taking the win. Ciara finished 11^th in 4:03.09 after her PB performance the week before.
