UKA Seek Safeguarding Case Officers

The purpose of these roles is to support the UKA Head of Safeguarding in managing, coordinating and investigating safeguarding concerns and reports of abuse and poor practice made to UK Athletics and the Home Country Athletics Federations.

These are exciting opportunities to play a key role in safeguarding and protecting all participants in our sport and contributing to making athletics the safest sport possible.

UKA Safeguarding Case Officer Job Description

Required experience, skills and qualifications for these roles include:

• Experienced investigator (PIP2 or equivalent training).
• Experience of working on complex
• Previous experience of responding to and investigating safeguarding concerns and
• Experience of working with victims or survivors of
• Knowledge of the statutory framework in relation to safeguarding children and adults and understanding of the processes in place for reporting safeguarding concerns to statutory agencies and UK Athletics.
• Sufficient educational attainment to demonstrate ability to carry out the role to the required
