I’m participating on Race Day – what other volunteering opportunities are available?

Look no further than the Expo & Pack Collection, returning on 3rd & 4th May to the TEC Belfast! Enjoy the pre-race excitement, nerves and anticipation as the atmosphere builds for the Moy Park Belfast City Marathon.

As a volunteer you will be a part of a dedicated team, distributing participant packs and bib numbers. You will be the first face that participants see, so make sure you bring heaps of smiles and enthusiasm!

Volunteering with your club? Take ownership of one of our scanning stations, wear your club vests and promote your club to 15,000 runners! If you can commit 5 volunteers all day on either the Friday or Saturday, your club will be eligible for either x1 complimentary Team Relay entry OR x2 complimentary Marathon entries.

Marshalled Mile Scheme

With the Marshalled Mile scheme, groups, clubs, teams, and organisations are invited to take volunteering responsibility and marshal a particular section of the course. Groups are encouraged to ‘take over’ their allocated mile and brand the area with the likes of flags and banners.

Why not represent your local area and look after the course section closest to ‘home’ for your group? Sign up early to avoid missing your ideal mile!

Groups who register 5 or more volunteers will be given complimentary entry for the event as a token of thanks – choose from either 2 x Marathon or Walk entries OR 1 x Team Relay entry.
