This is seen at the continuing development of ultra running in the Province following on from the two bronze medals achieved in Scotland at the Anglo-Celtic Plate in 2019.

The aim of the selection for this competition is to provide an opportunity for ultra-distance athletes on the development pathway to prepare for future competition at European and World level.

Selection Timeline

All athletes must email Ed Smith, Chairperson for the NIUUR, to express interest by 11th November 2019 and should include a CV outlining performances in the past two years that they would like to be considered.

The date of the selection meeting will be the week beginning 18th November.

Selections will be made by the selection panel comprising
