Female Leadership Forum

femaleleadershipforum-jpg.jpg

As part of our ongoing work to uphold the principles and values of equality across our sport, we have established a voluntary female leadership forum to assist us in leading the way.

The group aims to promote and support female leadership at all levels within Athletics Northern Ireland, while providing a safe, inclusive and empowering environment for women to share experiences, challenges, and successes. The group will bring together women for all aspects of the sport, to create opportunities for networking, mentoring, and professional development in order to identify barriers to female participation & leadership and develop strategies to overcome them. They will advocate for greater representation of women in decision-making roles within athletics; develop and implement initiatives that support the long-term growth and retention of female athletes, coaches, and leaders and will celebrate and showcase the achievements of women in athletics across Northern Ireland.

Club Survey

We are conducting a survey to better understand the experiences of female coaches within athletics clubs. Your responses will help identify barriers, existing support, and areas where additional support is desired. All responses are confidential.
