The Athletics NI July Open Meet provides athletes of all ages and abilities with the opportunity to compete in a structured track and field competition environment.
The event will feature a range of track and field disciplines including:
The Open Meet is suitable for athletes looking to gain competition experience, test their progress, try new events, or chase personal best performances.
Entries will open on Friday 26 June 2026 and will close at midnight on Wednesday 15 July 2026.
No late entries will be accepted.
Please note that entries for Open Meet events are restricted in numbers and may close earlier if capacity is reached.
This is an Open Meet, meaning athletes from outside Northern Ireland are welcome to enter.
Athletes competing in throwing events may bring up to two personal implements to the competition. All personal implements must be weighed and checked by an official before use.
Under 12 – athletes born in 2015 or 2016
Under 14 – athletes born in 2013 or 2014
Under 16 – athletes born in 2011 or 2012
Under 18 – athletes born in 2009 or 2010
Senior – athletes born in 2008 or earlier
