She will be joined by Annadale Striders, Hannah Gilliland and Dromore’s Rebekah Osborne. Both will be making their NI & Ulster senior Cross-Country debuts after impressive performances at the Bobby Rea International.

A strong Senior men’s team brings together once again Annadale Strider, Eskander Turki and North Down’s Craig McMeechan who both had top 5 finishes at the Bobby Rea International. They are joined by Finn McNally and Andrew Milligan, both of North Belfast Harriers. Finn’s last NI & Ulster representation came at the Northern Ireland International Cross-Country in January this year. Andrew once again pulls on the NI & Ulster vest at a time where he is showing great form, notably winning the prestigious Leeds Abbey Dash 10k in a time of 29.22.

Both U20 teams are strong with all athletes finishing strongly in their respective races at the Bobby Rea International and NI & Ulster Even Age Group Championships. Amy Greene was the winner of the U20 race with Marianne Doherty in 2nd place. They are joined by Anna Gardiner who won the U18 race.

Matthew Lavery was 3rd U20 finisher at the Bobby Rea which was combined with the Senior Race, finishing 9th overall, closely followed by Luke Kelly and Oisin Toye in 12th and 16th overall respectfully. Completing the team is runner up in the U18 race Kyle Thompson of Loughview AC.

Announcing the team, Athletics NI’s Performance Lead, Tom Reynolds, said: ‘’We are happy to announce talented Senior and Junior (U20) teams for this year’s Home Countries International in Milton Keynes. We are really looking forward to seeing our athletes put on strong performances and take on the other home nations in what promises to be a highly competitive event!”
