As you are aware the club affiliation and athlete registration for 2024/25 are officially available for clubs to complete on Opentrack.
New Registration Category
A new registration age category Primary 1 to Under 11, has been passed by our membership at the AGM so these young athletes will be covered under Athletics NI insurance. The new age category will be available via the Opentrack system for 2024/25 registrations, free of charge!
Expanding the age of registration aligns to the new Athletics NI Strategy, aiming to reach a wider age demographic, introducing athletics to a younger audience than ever before, while enhancing club membership. This expansion is reflective of the sports purpose, as set out within our new strategy: “to inspire more athletes of all abilities and backgrounds to fulfil their potential, have a lifelong love for the sport, and ensure an inclusive sport where everyone belongs and can flourish”.
Club Structure
We encourage all Affiliated Clubs to renew their Club Structure, to ensure Athletics NI holds up to date information on their Club Committee. Fill in the club structure below:

Additionally, at the Athletics NI AGM in October 2023, members agreed to change the rate structure for Club Memberships and Athlete Registrations which are as follows:

The Event Organiser Affiliation Fee has also increased to £65.
