Athletics NI Announces Coaching Course Fee Updates from 1 April 2026

Athletics Northern Ireland has announced updated pricing for its coaching qualification courses, which will take effect from 1 April 2026.

Course and tutor fees have remained unchanged for several years; however, increasing venue and delivery costs mean a price adjustment is now necessary to ensure the continued delivery of high-quality coach education programmes.

The updated fees will apply to three of Athletics NI’s core coaching pathways: Athletics Coach / CiRF, Coaching Assistant, and LiRF.

Updated Course Fees

Athletics Coach / CiRF

• £360 → £420 (Non-Members)

• £360 → £370 (ANI Registered Members)

Coaching Assistant

• £195 → £255 (Non-Members)

• £195 → £205 (ANI Registered Members)

LiRF

• £130 → £190 (Non-Members)

• £130 → £140 (ANI Registered Members)

Member Discount

Coaches who are ANI-registered members can receive a £50 discount on all base qualification prices listed above. To access this discount, members should contact coaching@athleticsni.org with their ANI Number to request the relevant discount code for their chosen course.
