Commonwealth Games 2026 Nomination Process

Athletics Northern Ireland are delighted to release details of the nomination process for the 2026 Commonwealth Games. The Nomination Policy was put together by an experienced panel on behalf of the Selection Committee with the aim of nominating an Athletics team capable of maximising medals and top 8 performances at the 2026 Games.

The 23^rd edition of the Commonwealth Games will take place in Glasgow from Thursday 23 July to Sunday 2 August 2026, returning to the city 12 years after the hugely successful 2014 Commonwealth Games.
