Course Record Falls as Personal Bests Highlight 2025 Seeley Cup 10K

The 2025 Seeley Cup 10K delivered a series of standout performances on Saturday, with calm and cool conditions helping athletes produce fast times and multiple personal bests.

Conall McClean (CNDR Track Club) claimed the men’s title in 29:15, setting a new course record and recording a PB in the process. His teammate Tony McCambridge finished close behind in 29:19, also under the previous record and another personal best. Craig McMeechan (North Down AC) completed the top three, running a PB of 29:50.

In the men’s team competition, CNDR Track Club took the win, followed by Annadale Striders in second and North Down AC in third.

The women’s race saw Hannah Gilliland (Annadale Striders) secure her third consecutive Seeley Cup victory, finishing in 33:37. Her clubmate Lea Adamson took second with a PB of 34:14, while Nakita Burke (Letterkenny AC) finished third in 34:28.

Annadale Striders topped the women’s team standings, with their A and B teams placing first and second. Host club Willowfield Harriers claimed third.

The event once again delivered competitive racing across the board, with athletes and clubs marking the 2025 edition as one of the fastest in recent years.
