Cross Country League 2021- 2022

The Athletics NI Cross Country League is back for the 2021-2022 season after a one year hiatus due to covid restrictions.
The Cross Country League, which is now entering it’s 10th year, will feature the following events:

Rule Changes from 2019-2020 are as follows:
- There are 9 events in the Cross Country League and clubs will be scored on their Top 6 events.
- Prizes will be awarded to the top eight teams in the league (both male and female). There will also be a prize for the Best Combined Team, which will be decided by adding together the final point score for a club which competes in both male and female sections. Only 1 award will be made for the winning team, though the combined totals for each club competing in both sections will be published.
- The NI & Ulster Senior Cross Country Championships will no longer award double points for scoring.
- Participant points for each club team will be scored up to a maximum of 8 competitors.
