Griggs Sets New 3000m Records

Nick Griggs (CNDR Track Club) secured third in the 3000m at Cork City Sports last night, clocking 7:41.68. This remarkable time broke the Irish U23 3000m record, previously held by Darragh McElhinney.

Additionally, the Tyrone native set a new Northern Ireland 3000m record, surpassing the previous the record held by Athletics NI's Vice Chair Paul Lawther.

Griggs, along with several other Northern Ireland athletes, is set to compete at the Morton Games on Friday evening.
