Irwin Selected for GB & NI as McCann added to European Indoor 400m list

Commonwealth Games 2022 representative Hannah Irwin (Gavin and Jo Pavey) has been selected to represent GB & NI at the Half Marathon event at the 2025 European Road Running Championships 11-12 April 2025 in Leuven, Belgium.

 The inaugural event which will combine elite race championships with mass participation opportunities, also comprises a 10km and marathon race.

 The current NI record holder in the 10km and Half Marathon will likely be targeting her 2024 mark of 70.49 set in Valencia.

 In other news, Rachel McCann (Ian Neely) who has already been selected for next week’s European Indoor Championships in the Mixed and Women’s 4x400m relay, has been added to the individual 400m as well following the confirmation of final entries this week.
