Athletics Northern Ireland is recruiting a Running Participation Coach to support high quality coaching practice and running club development throughout Northern Ireland. We are looking for a running coach who is immersed in the running community and is passionate about developing clubs, coaches and their runners at all levels and abilities to achieve their targets and offer a better participation experience that engages every community.
The successful applicant will work closely with the Running Participation Officer to create a pathway for runners moving from beginner programmes, such as Couch to 5k, to a club environment and regular racing. They will support coaches in our running clubs with development opportunities and resources that will build coaching expertise and capacity to improve the experience and performances of their runners.
Salary £8,800 per annum (£22,000 pro rata)
Based at Athletics House, Mary Peters Track, Belfast, plus field-based in running clubs through-out Northern Ireland
