NI & Ulster 10k Championships 2024 - Bangor 10k Recap

The 2024 Bangor 10k, serving as this year’s NI & Ulster 10k Championship, saw Annadale Striders dominate the competition.

In the men’s race, it was a tight contest between Annadale Striders' Brhane Gebrebrhan and North Belfast Harriers' Finn McNally. Gebrebrhan narrowly won by just two seconds, with his teammate Camerron Stewart securing third place. With two podium finishes and four athletes finishing in the top 12, Annadale Striders’ men's team claimed the NI & Ulster 10k title, while North Down AC’s A and B teams took 2nd and 3rd places.

In the women’s race, Annadale Striders’ Hannah Gilliland crossed the line first, followed by Ivana Anderson in second place and Robyn McKee (Annadale Striders) in third. Annadale Striders also claimed the NI & Ulster 10k women’s team title, with North Down AC finishing 2nd and Tafelta AC, continuing their strong performance in recent championships, securing 3rd place.
