NI & Ulster Championship Events for 2020

The panel from the Athletics NI Cross Country and Road Running Committee are delighted to announce the NI & Ulster Championship events for 2020.
This year’s NI & Ulster 5k Championship will be the Deep RiverRock Queen’s 5k Race Around The River. The event is hosted by Queen’s Athletics Club and this will be the third consecutive year it has held the Championship status.
North Down AC’s Bangor 10k has retained the NI & Ulster 10k Championship status from the last two years. The previous event attracted close to 1,000 competitors.
The 2020 Road Relay Championships will be again hosted by Orangegrove AC at Victoria Park, Belfast, as it celebrates its 10th year.
The Half Marathon Championships have been awarded to the long established Waterside Half Marathon organised by Derry & Strabane District Council and City of Derry Spartans AC.
The Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon will be the NI & Ulster Marathon Championship, and it will be celebrating its 39th year on 3rd May 2020.
