New Road Race Permit Application Process

The Athletics NI Endurance Committee have reviewed the current Permit Application processed and have agreed a new process for Road Race applications.

The new process is as follows:

  1. Submit Permit application. Applications must be submitted at least 4 weeks before the event date
  2. Pay Permit Fee:
    • £100.00 for Athletics NI Affiliated Clubs
    • £200.00 for Non-affiliated persons
  3. Email the following additional information to info@athleticsni.org:
    • Risk Assessment
    • Traffic Management Plan
  4. All road races will need to appoint a Race Referee. Race Referee are someone who is on the Endurance Officials pathway. If you need help appointing a race referee, please email info@athleticsni.org
  5. Send your results to info@athleticsni.org to be published on the website
  6. Post-Race submit your Returns Forms and payment for any additional Returns Fees within 28 days of your event.

 

All Road Race permits will now be reviewed on a regular basis by the Permits Sub-Group, before the permit is approved and issued to the organiser. We would ask that all permit applications are submitted at least 4 weeks in advance of your event date, to allow for this new process.
