Podium Performance for NI & Ulster at the Inter County Cross Country Championships

The NI & Ulster Men’s team claimed Bronze at the Inter County Cross Country Championships over the weekend (Saturday 9^th March) at Wollaton Park, Nottingham. With the Women’s team coming 11^th in a competitive field.

In the Men’s race the first NI & Ulster athlete through the line was Finn McNally (North Belfast Harriers) in an impressive 14^th. Followed by Neil Johnston (Annadale Striders) in 21^st followed by clubmates Eskander Turki in 28^th and Luke Dinsmore in 65^th. Shortly followed by North Belfast Harriers’ Conan McCaughey in 67^th and Oisin Toye (Finn Valley AC) finished strong in 111^th.

Moving onto the Women’s race were Robyn McKee lead the team home in 36^th (Annadale Striders), Joanne Mills (Newcastle & District AC) in 72^nd, Jennifer Martin (Tafelta AC) in 82^nd, Sarah Lavery (Beechmount Harriers) in 96^th, Kate Mulholland (St Peter's AC) in 136^th and Natalie Hall (Annadale Striders) in 192^nd.
