Rachel McCann, Callum Baird and Conor Kelly will all have eyes on qualification for September’s Tokyo World Athletics Championships when they take to the line for the World Athletics Relays in Guangzhou, China on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th May.

All three athletes are in the Mixed Relay squad as well as their respective Men’s or Women’s 4x400m relay teams and with the tight schedule across all events it is expected that all athletes have good chances in playing a part for the Irish team.

On Saturday round 1 will involve four heats in each event with the top 2 in each securing World Championship qualification (and going on to contest the World Relays Final on Sunday).

On Sunday round 2 will involve the non-qualified teams running again with the top 2 in each of the three heats also securing World Championship qualification.
